Jeffrey A. Loeb, MD, PhD – Founder and Chief Executive Officer:   Dr. Loeb is the leader in the field of growth factor-heparin interactions and the inventor of this exciting new technology. Dr. Loeb trained at the University of Chicago and Harvard University before coming to Wayne State University where he became the first Wilson Scholar. As both a practicing neurologist and a basic neuroscientist, he has a keen interest in taking what is learned at the bench top and applying it to the bedside. He has raised millions of dollars in basic science research support.  Dr. Loeb will lead the scientific teams at GlyTag, and continue to recruit top scientific talent.

Steve Sensoli, MBA – President and Chief Operating Officer:  Mr. Sensoli is in charge of both operations and business development for GlyTag LLC.  Mr. Sensoli has a BA in Natural Sciences (Biology, Chemistry), an MBA (Finance), and has been in the life sciences industry for more than 20 years.  He has been the CEO (or equivalent) of three successful life science start-up companies, and performed the business development function in each of them.  In that business development role, he was instrumental in raising more than $18 million in angel and venture funding, negotiated and signed collaboration deals with nine biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies, and executed the lucrative sale of one of the companies.

Haiqian An, PhD – Director of Protein Design and Production:  Dr. An was recruited for the specific purpose of constructing and testing new GlyTag products and enhancing our platform technology.  He has extensive experience in recombinant protein production and structure, holds one patent, and has a keen interest in developing the GlyTag LLC into an important new commercial entity.
